According to Delmar Becker, this is the cemetery next to the little wooden church. The origin may have been before Theilman, when a German Evangelical church was established a mile away, near Whippoorwill campground. That church is described somewhere in the Highland Township section of the 1920 Wabasha County History. Previously, the minister of the church in Theilman was United Church of Christ. More recently they had a minister or preacher who came in some Sundays. At one time they may have shared a minister from Millville.
