This photo is of the Bear Valley school children from Chester Township section # 23, in Wabasha
County, Minnesota, taken about 1900. The teacher and children were identified by Maggie
(Burfeind) Prigge as follows:

Maggie Prigge was born June 19, 1892, and is in the front row, the last child on the left. Maggie married Henry Burfeind of rural Lake City. In the middle of the front row is her brother, John Prigge who was born October 22, 1889. John married Hulda Albers of Zumbrota Township.
